VW service plan purchase

Hello all, sorry if this is in the wrong forum section, I wasn't sure where to post....

What service plans are available to purchase from VW? When going for my 12 plate Passat the dealer was trying to fob me off with a 2 year service plan for £379 (this is for 20k miles or every year whichever came firs)

I am sure I saw a 3 yr service plan for £349 (this is for 10k miles or every year whichever came first)

I know I would struggle to do 10k miles a year unless I go on a road trip.

Anyone got any advice re the above? Cheers! Red!

I purchased a 62 plate new in November 2012, and got the three year servicing plan for £149. I remember thinking it was silly cheap as a single service costs more than that. Also, don't pay anywhere the list price for the car either. I paid £22,500 for my factory build Passat BMT Sport 170ps estate.
