After market or retrofit VW reversing camera?

Hi all,

Is it possible to retrofit the VW supplied reversing camera? I'm sure my car has the DAB radio, it defo has the Nav. But can't remember the RN number off the top of my head.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that you may lose the DAB radio functionality for the reverse camera. The DAB is something I do not want to lose!

Or if there are compatible after market solutions out there for a 12 plate?

thera are camera, and screen options on ebay , even a rear view mirror lcd screen but i dont think the vw oe camera is compatible with the dab units

I was in at my local VW dealer (in France) recently and noticed they had a VW replacement sun visor which has a small screen built into it for connection to a rear view camera.

Total fitting price was about €450 so I put it into the "Too Expensive" bin because I have a good tow hook which protects my rear end :D

Food for thought, though!
