Here's a question for anyone who has recently ordered a new Passat to pay for with their own money................
I've been looking at swapping my car on and off for about a year, but I've settled on doing the deed in the New Year. I pride myself on never paying list price and always getting a good deal, even if this means travelling a few miles. I get an internet quote as a target, do the e-mail and fax trawl, identify some interested dealers then wave it in front of a dealer and strike a deal. So far, a Passat has been well out of the running because the best discount has been about 9-10%. Other marques are much better and strangely, I can get an A6 at around 15-17% off which makes it look a much better deal than a Passat. I still miss my Audi :sadwavey:(although a Jag is also looking good).
Anyway ............ the internet discounts on a Passat now look much more promising. Has anyone found this in their local VW dealer?
