Well, I'm new here so hello, hope by answering a couple of questions prior to asking I've earned a couple of brownie points, so here goes.
My old Audi 80 TDI 94 vintage has now covered 205k miles, so she's not exactly new.....Over the last 50k or so though shes' lost her sparkle and now dosen't have the urgency she once had.
I've pulled most things to bits, cleaned the injectors, intercooler in bits, had the timing checked etc and a variety of other stuff, but if I want to pull away in say third gear I really have to wait a month of sundays now before she gets going....Once going it's fine, it just lacks deep down urgency.
Emmissions are fine, passes the MOT with no bother, about 55mpg if treated well, so I'm lost on the cause of this, any ideas anyone?
