I was driving home when the emission light started to flash and the engine light illuminated.

On connecting VCDS I have the following fault code:
1 Fault Found:
5306 - Throttle Position Sensor (G69)
P0122 00 [175] - Signal too Low
MIL ON - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00000001
Fault Priority: 2
Fault Frequency: 1
Mileage: 88950 km
Date: 2012.09.24
Time: 20:02:52
Readiness: 1 1 0 0 0

The car runs fine except when coming in and out of idle, then it gives a shudder.
Could anybody tell me how I can diagnose via vcds, measurement blocks etc.

All is ok, I managed to sort it now.

There was no voltage to G69 (Throttle Valve Pot.) I disconected the connector to find a corroded contact, I cleaned with a fibre glass pen and hey presto fault disappeared.
I Reset the codes, went for 60 mile drive and all is good.
