Hi, I have an Audi A4 2.0 Tdi that has the DPF light on, I have fitted a Differential pressure switch as the car would not regen. The DPF calculated soot mass before and after is 50.00g and the DPF measured soot mass before and after is 45.39 which means it is above the limit to allow a regen. If you rev the engine a 2500rpm you can watch the measured mass soot come down but after ignition off it is back to 50.00g & 45.39g. I have since fitted a new DPF but have the same problem, any help would be gratefully apreciated.

many thanks

Hi Alan,
did you adapt the diff pressure sensor after you replaced it, as this is required before you re-start the engine.

Hi Tim,

thanks for your reply.

I didn't, I have tried to get info from everywhere, can this be done on vag-com or is it Audi only

Hi Allan,
you will need the full version of VCDS rather than vag-com lite. I have done this on my skoda octavia and the info is in the adaptation module of the software. I will try and find some more info for you, but you could try googling 'adapt g450'.

Hi Allan,

found the info,

In VCDS/vag-com

[Select]

[01 - Engine]

[Coding-II - 11]

Pressure sensor for an adjustment = 30605 Exhaust (G450)
Note: turn the ignition after adjustment for at least 10 seconds off! Note: Turn the ignition after adjustment for at least 10 seconds off![Do It!]

hope this helps.
