1997 A3 abs light

hi all ive had my a3 for around 3 months and the abs light has just come on, all the sensors are fine abs is working fine and all the pads are new, anybody else had this problem? iam in blackburn lancashire so if anybody has access to a diagnostics cable please get in touch if you are willing to turn it off for me because audi are trying to charge me through the nose for it
