Hi there
Am a bit stumped...hope you can help
2002 A4 with six CD changer in glovebox
Cds stopped playing a few weeks ago
However, the readout on the actual tuner unit is still saying CD2, Track 4 and counting the time of it.
I.e. its as if it thinks there's a cd in it (its definitely empty) and its playing it.
Obviously no music coming out.
So I took the actual unit out....and it still thinks its playing something and the readout says the same as above
So at the moment, the cd player is totally unconnected - presumably this means the actual tuner is knackered and not some connection between the tuner and the cd changer?
What can I do? Does the actual whole radio/tuner unit come out? Am no expert but I was thinking of waggling a few cables about and hoping it was a loose connection somewhere if i could get it out.
Tape still working...partially (dodgy head...how do fix, by the way?)
Radio working normally.
Anyone had this? Is there a fix?
Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions?
Would be most grateful
Ta!
