OK, so it doesn't have 5 of everything but it does where it counts... Wheels, doors, spark plugs :yikes:
Thing is, when was the last time you saw 1? Exactly. Now I'm putting my '86 type 32b GL5 estate back on the road after many years hibernation and GSF etc. don't list a great deal for 'em. Any ideas on where to find those "hard to find" bits like gas struts, trim, injection pipes etc welcome:1zhelp:

Is your (forgotten) Pasty the one with the unfeasibly large grill / bonnet badge?

It is, the grille badge was pure bling before bling was even invented. And you could land a helicopter on the bonnet. No pics yet, but watch this space.....

not quite standard, its lowered considerably, ronal turbo's and has a played with 1.8 8v with a twin choke weber

Nice mods there Grant, where did you get them chrome bumper top plates? Get that busted back light fixed tho, lets the car down

chome bumper tops came with the car! The old owner was a VW regional parts manager so eveything is new-old stock German VW!
Rear light is fixed now, not as easy to find one as you would think!
