help accelerator not working

hi guy i need some help asap o basically i had lowered the rear off my car car (golf 1.4 16v 03 ) after i lowered it my accelerator pedal had stopped work i had put a new exhaust on it to but someone had said i dont need the lambar sensor that had popped the engine management light when i press a pedal nothing happens also i had noticed (http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/p/492194/3384676.aspx#) a white long clip above the pedals that has dropped from some where dose anone know what it could be please thanks

I know this is an old thread and you've probably sorted it by now but as no one has replied I thought I would :)
You may need to delete the lambda sensor off the ecu to clear the EML and possible running issues. This could be the reason why the pedals not working or that white clip could be part of the pedal assembly.
