Hi All,

The wife's polo (as in the title) was struggling to get any acceleration and felt like it was going to cut out when trying to join motorway. She decided to head back home and it drove fine on the way back. I've scanned it and threw up the following:

16726 P0342 Camshaft PositionSensor (g40) – signal too low
16555 P0171 Fuel Trim -System Lean (Bank 1)
16515 P0131 O2 Sensor Circuit- Voltage Low (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
16518 P0134 O2 Sensor Circuit- No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

Does anyone have any ideas as to a possible cause? The flexi pipe section is needing replaced at front of exhaust. Could this be a factor?

Thanks as always for any help.

I have never had these codes before but I would start by checking electrical connectors or air leaks. I had a similar problem with another car and it was a hole in the air pipe between the air flow sensor and tb. This caused big problem when needing power.

Cheers for the replys guys. Will get the flexi pipe at front of exhaust fixed and look into the other suggestions. Has been running fine since so an intermittent problem.
