Hi all
My old BMW 3 series has seen better days and I am looking to replace it soon. I thought that the Audi A5 would be out of my budget range, however, I have found 2 A5's - one is a 1.8TFSi and one is a 2.7TDi, both on an 08 plate and all with just over 100,000 miles on the clock, and a full Audi service history. The cars are selling for just under £9,000.
The question I have is whether I should be worried about buying an A5 with such high mileage? I know that VAG diesel engines can run to the ends of the earth, but I have no experience of their petrol versions.
I only drive around 8,000 miles per annum and I hope to keep the car a while, so I wouldn't be too worried about residual values.
Any comments or advice would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Gordon
