Picked up my new car yesterday. 2012 A4 Avant 2.0 TDIe 136

Very impressed by the improved economy.

On my regular commute to work (20 miles) i got 62.7mpg this morning (with only 100 miles on the clock).

Best I could manage in the previous 2008 B8 2.0 TDI 143 was 53.2mpg.

There is much less rolling resistance. The car coasts much better with no throttle.

If your interested in real MPG figures try Fuelly | Share and Compare Your MPG (www.fuelly.com)

Seems to be few on here using it now, really easy to use. You just need to record your mileage, price per litre, and how much you've put in. Only downside for some is it really only works from full tank to full tank.

Anyway enjoy the car, I nearly ended up with a TDIe with technik pack, but managed to find a little extra to get the S Line. Have you spec'd any extras?

Not all that interested in the MPG to start being bothered to recording it.
I just thought the improvements in economy on the 2012 model are pretty good.

Options I got are Privacy and 3 spoke sports steeing wheel.

Completely agree with derekm - took my TDIe Technik for a drive 125 miles and was averaging around 59.something with a mix of motorway and dual carriageway driving, my prev drive was a 118d and even that could only manage 49mpg at best! Really impressed with the A4 so far...will see if i can beat my mpg figures on my daily commute 8)
