Hi all,
How much would a fuel filter which is 60k (!) overdue affect the performance (turbo boost etc) and mpg?
Just looked in my service manual having bought the car 4 weeks ago and seen that it hasn't been changed in a looooonggg time!

Well if its dirty it will block the flow of fuel so yes, it will affect performance.

Is it likely to be dirty? I can only assume so

it depends on what quality fuel its been run on. some filters will go a lifetime without being changed but get some muck in the tank and they can block easily. best get it changed and let us know what happens.

It was last changed at 40925 now done 95k...
Mmmmm... Still trying to pinpoint this lack of turbo after sedate driving fiasco.. Thought that could contribute.
