Guys - to my dismay last night my (now old) TT had no main lights, no indicators and no wipers! I had hazards and side lights however so managed to get to where I was going. Any ideas what this is? still have dashboard lights assuming it's some sort of electrical failure but the local garage will no doubt fleece me - help!:zx11::aargh4:

They all share the same earth in the engine bay ,give terminal 5 at the wiper motor a direct battery negative and see if it works the motor when you put the switch on

Cool thanks - how easy will this be to fix and can I do it myself? Don't want to get shafted by the local Audi garage...

You could easily give terminal 5 of the motor a battery negative feed and test it but i would advise you to seek audi main dealer assistance.

just add another earth lead and ignore the existing one
