doors not locking

Using the remote key fob the doors will not lock i can hear the little motor in the boot buzzing for about 15 seconds but nothing happens .But they open with no problem (after I have pushed them down manually). any suggestions please?:(

Lookes like yr grafite wheel or what they call it in the c/locking pump is gone,common proble.Easy fix if you know what you doing.

Took the pump apart and checked the graphite impeller its totally fine. now the doors are opening and closing fine but when closing motor runs for 15 seconds but when opening only runs for 3.blocked the 2 holes on the unit and exactly the same result. any ideas guys.

pull pump out but leave it all connected, next to the outlets is a little window, remove that (lift and push at the same time) , operate locking with fob and observe
you'll see two thin metal strips with contacts on the end, these control run time, one for opening one closing, you can move these gently so that they make contact earlier

you'll see what i mean when you watch them move as you operate locking

do it asap or your impeller wont last long!
