2004 Touran 1.6FSI *The alternator has packed up and is not charging the battery.
I've had a look. *On the face of it it looks just about accessible.
but how do I remove / fit the alternator please, starting with the most obvious bit, how do I de tension the rather long belt that takes a tortuous route around the alternator, air con pump, water pump and a few other pulleys?
Is this an easy DIY job or are there serious access issues?
