Hi. Newbie here with a question looking for a bit of advice, would really appreciate any help that can be suggested.
Had a problem with my Passat whereby the fuel guage would only go upto 1/2 tank when full but work normally once below 1/2 full.
Trip worked fine, took car to VW Main Agent who diagnosed fault and quoted £976 for new clocks however when I got the car back the MFA was stuck as described in the title.
Secondhand clocks have since been fitted and programmed by an indy and fuel reading is correct however MFA is still stuck on minutes.
I spoke to the Main Dealer who said they "didnt touch anything to do with the trip computer" and are refusing to accept any responsibility despite its correct operation until they touched the car.
Any ideas on what the fault could be (perhaps a disconnect battery reset as dealer suggested) and what line would you take with the main agent.
