fog lights

you will have read about my latest a4, the headlights are xenon but it has halogen fog lights which to me look a little odd,

can i simply just buy white light h11 bulbs and replace the fog lights?

Yes make sure they're canbus compatible though

Basically the car knows when a bulb blows by measuring the current to the bulb should it be a fog or tail light.

Some bulbs don't have the required current so they throw the bulb warning light on.
