Yet another query about by 'new' B7 estate.
The OS rear disc has a band of rust about 15mm wide around the middle of the disc. The NS disc has a similar band of rust but not as wide; neither rear brake disc is at all 'shiny' so I'm wondering if the rear pads haven't yet bedded in. The car has done 4,500 miles. I've tried heavy braking but I suspect that most of the braking on an estate is done by the front brakes unless the car is heavily loaded. A previous B7 saloon had shiny rear discs after a similar mileage.
As always, I'd be grateful for comments before going back to the dealer.
