Jetta Door Mirrors

Does anyone know if the door mirrors from a circa 2007 Jetta will fit the newer 2012 model? I note that the new model's door mirrors are larger and stick out too far so would not fit into my garage - I have to reverse in so need the mirrors to see each side.

Probably not - different electrics/fixings etc.

or hang two mirrors in your garage and drive in, but reverse out ?
