I am new to the forum and have been looking through a lot of threads. By the looks of it I have a common problem with my A4.

Just prior to my last service I had a problem with erratic idling, sometimes creeping up to 1200rpm. When sitting stationary I could feel the engine rocking. I went to my local dealer for a service and queried the coils. The car was returned with a clean bill of health after cleaning the throttle body.

A short time later the EML came back on and I have diagnostic codes as 16891 rpm higher than expected, 17544 system to lean and 17705 pressure drop between turbo and throttle valve.

I have visually inspected everything I can get to and cannot find anything of cracks or breaks. I have decided to change the crankcase breather valve and the pressure regulating valve.

Does anyone have these part numbers to hand and maybe a link with step by step instructions. It has been a while since I last had my head under the bonnet.

Your assistance is appreciated.
