I have A6 1995 2.0 5 speed manual, I think the automatic choke is sticking. Can anyone point me in the right direction of it, with a pic so I give it a wd40 squirt?

I would guess that you have the 115bhp ABK engine and that has multi-point fuel injection...so it does not have one.
What symptoms do you have ?
It could be the coolant temperature sensor.

Shortly after I set off, I just lose power, my foot is to the floor but I go nowhere, then I shoot off full speed after30 secs or so. The car judderslike mad too sometimes, also In idle sometimes it judders I can see the rev jumping up and down. I have used redex in pertol, i have let it run out of fuel and re-filled. The biting point is right at the op of the clutch peddle too.:aargh4:

Could be a vacuum leak I guess, or a sticking idle stabilisation valve.
It's impossible to diagnose at a distance.
Find a local indie who knows his stuff.....
My guesses and they are only guesses as Lex has said, you either need to get it in somewhere or arrange for the car to be read for fault codes are;
You need to clean the throttle body and have an electronic alignment carried out. Do a search on here about this, it is often talked about. This is the cause of a lot of idle problems on vag petrol engines.
and / or
Your lamda sensor is faulty / gunked up with poo [1], this is likely to be the cause of the bad pick up.
[1] poo; technical term for something this is messy, probably where it shouldn't be, in your case probably engine oil that has blown past the piston rings.
