MPG from 1.8t 120

Hi,

I was wondering what others are getting from theres? i can't seem to get over 35mpg, I have only done 900 miles in it but was expecting to get top end of 30's and just under 40. Especially as this car is a compromise on performance for me so was hoping to justify it with better mpg. My 130i could get 33mpg if I really tried and 28mpg if I drove sensibly (difficult with a straight 6 like that) acerage between all driving.

Am considering a remap to the Audi to get the power up a bit, is this likely to help the mpg too? I will of course wait until I have done a few thousand miles to let it bed in properly.

i was also worried about performance issue with the 120, i've come from a mercedes cls 320 cdi amg which was very powerful but only returned average 30mpg so the audi was a compromise between power and fuel economy, im currently getting 38-40 knocking about and 40-45mpg on a motorway run which for me is a good improvement :)
