Front Brakes Clicking

I have a problem with the front brakes. whe I apply the brakes there is a click from the front brakes. I have been told it is the guide pins/bushes on the caliper that have worn. I have had a look at the guide pins and they look to be ok as I can see no wear at all, which points to the bushes.
has anyone replacedthe bushes on a Superb or Passat and is a special tool required to get the bushe out?
