I'm doing a FSI to TDI conversion on my B7 because TDIs were never brought here (Canada).

Looking for someone who has a A4 Quattro manual with BPW engine code. This is the 2.0 TDI 8v PD140 engine. Not the 16v.
Must be a manual transmission with Quattro.


Also anyone who has an ECU for this car let me know as I may be interested in purchasing it.

It was available but not sure whether in the UK as you say - I've never seen a 2.0 quattro TDI B7 before - only 3.0 TDi quattro B7's

Plenty of 2.0 pd 170 quattros around.. just not the 140 AFAIK

ETKA seems to show that it's exists. "E.." if I'm not mistaken means Spain but everywhere else used the same ECU# and also a update one.

I know the computer exists because they sell them on ebay.de Was hoping not to spend 200Euro considering I only really need the EEPROM file.

Used ECU's here in North America can usually be found for ~$100.

I have the 170 2.0tdi quattro, but i don't want to send my engine to Canada. :D

I don't need the engine... Just a copy of the EEPROM but from the PD140 8valve (BPW).
I wish we had half the TDI options that you have. Today the only Audi's TDIs we have are the A3 and Q7 and they only come with one TDI option.

How much different in performance and fuel ecconomy is the PD140 8valve vs. the PD140 16valve?
I have a 8valve but I'll be getting it to 170HP as a start. Once I change the turbo I'll bee looking for ~210HP.

Fuel consumption numbers are not shown but I'm sure they are close if not the same.
Odd thing is I know they have a PD140 8valve that has DPF. This claims that 8v had no DPF and 16v did and at some point 8v were no longer.

Hoping to get 180HP with stock turbo/injectors and no DPF or Catalytic Converter.
Upgraded turbo (GTB2056VK) looking for 210-220 without changing anything else.

Also looking for a SMF clutch upgrade but can't seem to find any.
