Ecu Engine a4 2.0tdi CAGA

Hi guys!!!

Sorry for my english, but I'm Italian. I hope you'll understand me!

My audi a4 2.0tdi is a 2008 model year, so I retrofitted a lots of things:

High bean assistant, audi parking system plus, pack light, ecc ecc.

I would want to retrofit ACC (adaptive Cruise Cotrol) but first of all I need to upgrade my ECU engine HW 03L 906 022 B (that has 03L 906 022 B as SW) with the new software for example 03L 906 022 MJ.
How can I do? Does anyone know what should I do? Maybe this SVM action 01A026?

I have an original VAG and a clone VAS 5040A. I also downloaded the updating DVD of this ECU: 4H0 906 961 S (4H0906961S).
Yesterday I tried to upgrade the ECU, everything worked but the software writed in the ECU was always 03L 906 022 B with the last revision 9333 (before was 8243 maybe).

If I renamed the file of software 03L 906 022 B as the file of software 03L 906 022 MJ and if I updated it in the ECU what could happen?

Please help me!!!

You need to add the acc first then once fitted and coded try to encode the engine ecu to accept the activation
The control unit will return out of range fault code if the acc is not added to the vehicle network

Flash update via vas cd or Svm

thank u so much for your answer.

This week I'll receice the radar and the other things I need to retrofit it in my car! I hope I'll update my ECU software because I know the software with final MJ (for example) supports the ACC. Do you know if the final B supports the ACC? In another forum someone writes it doesn't support it.

Now my steps will be (check them, please and tell me if they are wrong):

Step 1:
- I'll fit everything and I'll code everything. I've already the gateway with extender can, so the last problem will be probably the ECU engine!

Step 2:
- I'll try to update another time my ECU software with my CD and my VAS. I hope it'll work!

Step 3:
- If it won't work the step 1 and 2 I'll go to the audi dealer and I'll ask them another time the svm action 01A046 (I checked it yesterday, it was my fault in the first post);

Step 4:
- I hope I won't arrive here because I'll try to rename the file of software MJ as the final with B. I don't know what could happen. Do you know?

Step 5:
- The last step is to fit another ECU engine, for example, with final MJ.

Is everything good?

Hi a8 tech.

I installed everything and I tried to upgrade my sw engine with my vas. Nothing has happened. The software is always the same and dosn't support ACC. I also tried to rename the file with final MJ as the file with final B, but the vas, maybe, has a checksum and recognised I want to force it and it didn't appear the upgrade!
I'll go to my audi dealer and I'll try 3 different svm code on thursday. The codes are: 01A046, AF01A025, 26F1A001.


What do you think about that? Have you any suggestions?
