audi a4 avant convenience module repairs.

hi all, new to this site so hope someone can help. i have an audi a4 avant 05 plate b7 shape, water got in passenger side footwell and must have got to the convenience module (stupid design)as rear tailgate has a mind of its own and opens itself then alarm beeps lights flash etc.does anyone know someone who repairs these as been quoted £300 for new one at ******** . my number on the module is 8eo 949 433 cb .do the last to letters need to be the same as seen some on ebay .appreciate all help thanks.

hi again , sent convenience module to bba reman but they said they could'nt communicate with it so i presume its knacked is there anywhere else i can send this unit for repair or does anyone have one for sale (8eo 959 433 cb) if not i will have to save for a new one .all help appreciated thanks.
