Just acquired a Audi a4 sport tdi and it's been remapped! It's to quick for its own good lol!!

How do I Remove the remap?
I have vcds?

you can't, you need a new map. just drive it slower as it will be (should be) more economical than standard.

disconnect the battery for 3 weeks and reconnect - the map will disappear - it's been proven on the internetz.

just kidding, as Zol says, think of your ECU as a computer and the map as an operating system. To remove the old operating system (map) you'll need to overwrite with a different one. I'm sure most mappers would have a stock map file if you contacted them, not sure what it'd cost though.

Hi there, Esh as far as I know had provided good info.........It would need to be remapped back to stock and there would be a fair cost involved.

As stated if you can just "drive it normally" it will provide better mpg results than std.........all good.
The upside is, that power is there when you need it for overtaking for example.

To be honest unless its been done so its "undriveable" I'd keep it there and do as above
