VCDS assistance in Blackpool

If there is a kind member in/around the Blackpool/St.Annes area, I would very much appreciate some assistance in getting a readout due to temp gauge issues and garage not having done a great job of fault resolution presently.

is the temp needle rapidly going from zero to 90 Deg?? If so it will be the temp sensor in the engine bay. its like £30 quid for a new one and pretty easy to swap.

I'm in freckleton. What model of car do you have? I have vcds and the cables for an Audi a4 b7. Still learning how to use vcds but can run scans though for errors.

I'll be happy to help next weekend if that is any good as I work away in the week.

Very kind offer, really appreciate it.
Unfortunately, I lost patience & faith in the car & dealer and rejected under SoGA.
Tooling about in the automotive equivalent of white goods now....(ford rep-box).
Trying to flog the missus' Disvovery to get a VAG tdi estate, so may take up your generous offer sometime in future.
