Can anyone help. My A4 is almost 10 years old, and has just done 100,000 miles. Recently, the illumination on my dash board has almost gone. All dials still work, but at night, i can only see the odometer when i got over 120 mph (well i don't, but that's the only part that works). The rev counter, the fuel guage, the engine temperature all work normally, but the red light behind it doesn't. Any one have a suggestions? I can't drive at night now as i don't know how fast im going, or how much fuel im using.

I have had a look at the fuses, and these seem to be fine. Please help.

Hi,

The instrument panel has lots of little bulbs screwed into a printed circuit on the back.

You need to remove the instrument panel and replace the blown ones. I recommend that you take them one out before you go to the dealer as there are various sizes/ratings and the dealer will have a hard time working out which ones you need otherwise.

Cheers,
