Hi folk's
I upgraded from a A4 1.9 tdi (remapped) to a A5 3.0 tdi 07 plate. lovely car BUT!!! i DPF, done a few short journys and of course filter warning light came on not realising what was going to happen i was driving to work next morning (Sun. 07.00hrs) and the car went into limp mode. I was gutted. Monday afternoon i took it to the Seat garage where i get my mot done (the mechanic is a freind's future son in law) luckely he tricked his machine into thinking it was hooked up to a Seat and managed to reset it:biglaugh:. I have a Vgate scan vs450 which worked on the A4 but won't on the A5. Anyone know of a reasonably priced reader/scanner that would read & reset the problem if it happens again?:1zhelp: advice would appreciated.
