Convenience window opening

So after 9 months of trouble free motoring my first problem.

Found the other day that the convenience window opening from the key fob had stopped working. Have checked the MMI settings and have even tried the good old IT solution of turning it off and turning it on again but no joy.

Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem.

Tried a new battery in the fob?

Might have enough juice to chat to the car and persuade it to unlock but not enough to continually send a signal to open the windows. I get a warning from the car when it wants me to change the fob battery but this might be because I have keyless entry etc.

I've found the solution - one to read and remember just in case it happens to you.

One of the rear windows had stopped working on the one touch open or close (don't know why) so I did as instructed in the manual - close it, release the button and then hold the button on again for more than one second. That fixed the one touch issue on that window and now the convenience opening is working again.
