Hi to you all
I have just bought my first Audi 80 but it has a couple of bits wrong. First. I know the rear seats lock/unlock with the boot but the seat lock is jammed and the lever will not move. I need to have better access to the boot because the offside seat belt will not retract...any idea's how I can unlock the seat's?

To access the boot properly you need the master key to unlock the boot lock, if this has been left in the upright position it locks the seats upright, turn the key to open the boot lock, and leave it horizontal, you can then move the seats.

Sorry for delay in replying Kevin, thanks for your response but I do have the master key and the boot lock is in the vertical position but the Levers on the rear of the seats will not move. The boot and doors all Ok'. I am at a lose. I did manage to make the belt retract though.

turn teh key to the horizontal position, it should work there ok.

Thanks Kevin but I have tried that and it still doesn't release the seats.
