My 57 plate Octavia randomly jolts once when driving on motorway at about 70mph 2k revs, not when overtaking or braking, just when going along happily. Then is ok for half an hour and will do it again. no loss of power afterwards, just a frightening jolt a bit like tapping the brakes quickly or rough auto gear change. (it is a manual).
It also does it in second gear, 2k revs again going up a hill round a sharp corner near our home, in the same place every time, but nowhere else!!
Any ideas gratefully received....
Have recently had the turbo replaced due to intermittant faalt, but it did this before and I thought it would be resolved with the turbo change.
