Changing G65 Aircon Sensor - PLEASE HELP!

Hello all,

I'm trying to change the high pressure/thrust sensor on my B7 2005 TDI Avant. As I understand it, it's located on the N/S underneath the headlight and up against the radiator. The problem is that it seems that I can't remove the headlight unit to get to the sensor without removing the whole of the front bumper assembly.

Please tell me this isn't true!! I have the car in pieces and am rapidly losing my patience with the overly-complex design..... Is there another way of getting to the sensor? I'm technically able but really don't want to take the whole front panel off.

Please help, I'm going mad!!

No need to reply, I've searched the forum (as I should have in the first place!) and found the answer........

The whole front bumper has to come off........ Lovely car but no stranger to crass design in certain areas.
