Hi all

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

The button on the lid of my armrest has broken meaning that I cannot have the armrest in an upright position without the lid flying open.

The dealer has said that they will need to fit a whole new armrest unit however I wondered if it was possible to source/fit just the button or maybe the lid/button? The dealer says no but I'm not convinced.

Has anyone done this at all?

thanks

Jon

If its just the normal lid part thats broken which is common, then just needs a new lid, which unfortunately is about £70-80 depending if leather or not, check the bay.

I have the same problem on mine - been like it for about 6 months now as I resent the fact I have to pay £80 for a plastic catch!
I'm planning on getting one from a scrappy - but havent had the time yet.

But do you resent the fact we're paying £1.45 per litre & thus wouldnt pay for fuel lol.

£1.45 seriously?

I filled up this morning at Maxol for £1.32 a litre :approve:

Better than £1.48 a litre when it was at its peak!

Asda and Sainsburys up the road is £1.29 per litre but its that thin city diesel which doesn't last half as long as Maxol or BP 'regular' fuels.

Well yes obviously! But I don't have much choice in the matter. And diesels only 132 here atm
