Rear Brake light on boot stopped working??!!

Hi
Has anyone out there had this problem on there A3, or know what the problem could be?
ive tried the fuse which seems to be for all the brake light which didn't change a thing so just wondered if I needed to buy a whole new light bar?
Any help would be much appreciated as don't fancy a trip to the *******s!!!!!

check the wiring loom that goes through the rubber boots in boot opening

Had this on my a3 it was illuminating but only very dim. You could just see it at night, had to buy a new light forty something ££££ :(
