Has anyone purchased a boot liner for their car? Audi don't have accessories for the C7 on the site, so I'm looking at 3rd party products.

I've seen this one, A6*AVANT*ESTATE*BOOT*LINER... (http://www.bootsliners.co.uk/A6-AVANT-ESTATE-BOOT-LINER-2011-onwards.html)

The site looks a little cheap, but the liner seems OK.

Thoughts?

I got one of these for my kia sorento, as kia wanted three times the price.

That was two years ago.

It came rolled up in a tube and didn't take to much work to keep flat. It fits well and has served its purpose but for me it was a little thin.

If I get chance I'll take a pic for you today. If I was buying again. I would try and get a thicker liner - I spoke to someone recently who had a fab one the thickness of rubber foot mats - much better.

Hope this helps

Please do. This seems to be a thicker rubberised one, Premium Rubberised Boot Liner Audi A6 C7 Avant Quattro 5 Door Combi Est 2011 On | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Premium-Rubberised-Boot-Liner-Audi-A6-C7-Avant-Quattro-5-Door-Combi-Est-2011-/290702833906?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43af3d38f2#ht_2431wt_992)

Just found this online, but not sure it's genuine Audi, despite being on an Audi website. Audi A6 Flexible luggage compartment liner - Stoke Audi Parts (http://www.stokeaudi-parts.co.uk/products.php?product=Audi-A6-Flexible-luggage-compartment-liner)

That ties up with the style on the site in your quote below. But this one is for a C7, Audi only have the C6 on the main site.

Thanks for those. I think I'll be going for one of the Audi ones based on the above and the fact it isn't much more money.

I was given one free by the dealer. It's the £70 semi rigid option. Fit is fine, but it does mean you lose access to the runners for the storage bars/net mountings.

I need to decide what I want to do in terms of keeping/modifying the liner.

Wow, a freebie would be nice :)

I decided on the one from Eternalcar store (Home eternalcar (http://store.eternalcar.com/boot_mat_liner_anti_slip_audi_q5_2008,k,16,p,11959 .html)) as it was far cheaper than th other ones, only £16.52. Hopefully the quality will be fine as well, it should arrive within several days so we'll see

It was part of their apology for washing the car when I'd asked them not to!

You could speak to Rosscow about the one he got for his A6 C6, he's happy with his & it looks very good.

I bought the Audi boot liner with the car from new, I wish I had not bothered as it only a strip of mat that does not cover the entire boot floor. I am going to have to buy a rubber aftermarket one now.

I bought the semi-rigid rubber one for my avant for around CHF 100 (equivalent to around GBP 70). It's great. It has a lip against spillages.

I think that's the one I have too. Rubberised finish, approx 4cm lip all the wat round and a perfect fit, little A6 logo in one of the corners too.

5678, That's the one. They sold another one at 3 times the price but the semi-rigid works perfectly well.

Mine has a lip around the edges as well, great idea to protect the boot from spillages

I'm not clear on this - are all of these posts referring to liners for current Avant models?
I looked at the Eternalcar website, and the most recent A6 I could find was the C5 and the model year stops at 2005.
: puzzled headscratch:

I might be interested in a saloon bootliner for a 2012 A6 C7 but I'm not finding it easy to locate. Have I missed something?

Does anyone know of a boot liner that still allows the luggage retention system to be used?

Looking at all the details on the web there seems to be lots of fully rubberised, spill protecting lipped versions for the C7 Avant but none that are similar to the Audi dual sided liner. Ideally I'm looking for something that just stops the general wear and tear of the boot floor dragging bags in and out and has some type of pull out protection for the boot lip and bumper, while still allowing use of the rails.

The Audi version looks ideal but over £100 is pretty extreme for what is essentially a bit of rubber backed carpet!

KAM, cannot locate a C7 mat either, looks like they don't have it :(

Oh well, I'll just have to go back to the original plan: knitting and knotting 143 Sainsbury's carrier bags in to a waterproof, resilient, washable, attractive and easily stowed fully-flexible boot floor liner. Plus there's the added benefit of all the Nectar points I'll acquire while purchasing goods at Sainsbury's in these bags.
(On second thoughts, the predominantly orange colour scheme of Sainsbury's may not be the best aesthetic match for an Aviator Blue A6. Does anyone do dark-blue or grey supermarket bags? Damn. Another brilliant scheme foiled!)

Hi I have ordered a custom made liner from rhinouk.co.uk.
From the pictures on their website they seem quite good. I also ordered the 2 part bit in case I drop the seats down.
they are due in just over a week.
I will let you know more when I get them
