I have a 2001 a4 1.9 TDI and I wanted to know if you can fit a dump valve to this model, if so how? If there is already a guide on how on here could you write the link because I couldn't find one thanks people.

welcome to the forum.
a petrol works well with some sort of dump valve so the turbo keeps spinning when the throttle butterfly closes whilst changing gear. a diesel has no restriction in the intake to stop the turbo, so doesn't need a dump valve. you could fit one though if you really wanted to, but you would get increased lag between gear changes, and i am sure you don't want you diesel to be slower, do you, or you would need a remap to get it back to where it is now.
To be fair I just like the sound, I've recently sold an Evo 4 call me childish but I just love the sound and kid misses it lol so I just wanted to know of it could be done ;)

it could, but its a waste of time, money and performance. on a petrol yes, a diesel no.
incidentally, i would love one on my car, but alas its also an oil burner.
