restore vag settings

hi any one out there can tell me how to go about restoring settings ste by step to original used vagcom and it messed up using windows 7 on vw touran 2.0 tdi thanks lee desparete !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Start - Computer - The disk with the windows logo on - ROSS TECH - VCDS - and I think DEBUG -> CODINGLOG.txt -> Will now show the module number and the before and after coding relating to time

hi thanks for the advice found the log put it back to how it was still the same problem any idea how much a software update is

it wont let me into the cent electrics keeps saying error 22 i have no remote locking no radio sat nav the instument cluster is not what it should be aswell maybe i need a new sofware install im lost can u help

I think you need to give a lot more info on what a) VCDS using (like Gizmo68 ask) b) what coding change you were doing eg method c) use this as reference to which modules you played with VW Touran (1T) - Ross-Tech Wiki (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Touran_%281T%29)

Instead of coding did you change adaptations within modules...

You may have changed something which has now changed adaptation to those modules which were done to them which make it work with your car....
as you were playing with alarm functions,etc
