Right, just wondered if anyone else has noticed this bug if you have the tech package. When using traffic maps the google supplied traffic indicators appear on the correct side of the road. However, change to google mapping and alas it's all been flipped and the traffic is all wrong as it seems to think we are driving on the right. This is rather an annoying bug that has caught me out a few times.

Is it me, or is this another addition to the ever increasing number of MMI related bugs/issues/everything that's wrong with these really rather expensive cars that should be right, not wrong, rather than left!

I'm sure I'm going to love my new car when it arrives, but I'd rather not be reading all these bug reports that just keep coming!

It would appear once again that the UK is still the poor relation!

Don't get me wrong great car, just a few too many quirks. I'm at home with the mmi now, I have a three mobile sim In the thing and just forward all my calls, but the traffic is annoying if you don't realise there is a problem. You end up routing around traffic that doesn't exist or in a few instances driving straight into it. I've learnt to keep the maps on traffic maps and now hardily use google mapping.

I haven't noticed this on mine. Can you post up a pic of what I should be looking out for on the screen?

MF.

Sure. Ill post this eve. I only noticed when I got caught in a jam and the lines were going the wrong way. Annoying. Oh well.

Just got these on the a12. The road is a duel carriage way. Notice the traffic displaying on the right of the road when the cartridge way is split. Then as the road comes together the lines merge. Now if you are on a main road they appear on the wrong side of the road. http://img.tapatalk.com/5c28feec-e3da-7a85.jpg

Now revert to traffic maps and it's fixed. http://img.tapatalk.com/5c28feec-e430-b415.jpg

Is it just a quirk of the display, or does it get the directional flow mixed up and report issues on your side of the road when they are in the opposite direction?

What software version is your car currently running? I can take a look at my setup and see if I get the same issue (and if I am running the same software revision).

Cheers!

Well all functions normally when using traffic mapping, it's just google mapping. At this point I think it's just a quirk of the display but a bloody annoying one if you don't remember everything is reversed!!!

At this moment not sure on the software version. Will take a look when I get out of the office later. There was me thinking a new car would be the end of annoying little bugs.

Also does anyone know if there will be an update to get things like twitter and Facebook integration like the a3
