Hi all, i have vag-com 409.1 shareware which i use on my laptop using usb port,is there a 'crack' available?

Basically if i connect to my car and go into 'ENGINE' and then 'FAULT CODES' it will come up with faults.

I can read one fault but cant read the other faults it says ''shareware version'' is there a crack i can use? im using this via usb port

Within this forum we have the fault codes and reasons.. you dont need the full version for reading the codes... just get the codes and cross ref them with the below link.

is there any way to see hp you boost on this vag com software for my a4 1.8t.. i can get some engine readings like air flow and temp but i wanted to see hp and boost..

You need a rolling road for HP, boost can be increase i think 'll need to ask an but you'll need to ask an expert.

Also Vag-com is a Diagnostic tool rather than a tuning tool;)

You can log outputs, but you are limit to the first 25 in the shareware version, see here http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/tour/logging.html

The shareware version of the product will not allow you to see the measuring blocks you need to view for boost. Shareware will only let you view the first 25 measuring blocks. You will have to buy a license to see the measuring blocks you want.

There is no measuring block for hp as the ECUs do not report hp. That has to be calculated from rpm and load. To see some other people's calculations, go to the Ross-Tech Info (http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/index.html) page. At the bottom you will see spreadsheets such as:
