clutch problem (?)

hi,

on my new car (2011 2.0 sline a4 diesel saloon manual 136bhp), ive noticed that
when i press the clutch (e.g. 2nd gear and pulling into my narrow driveway) the car
actually speeds UP?! my old car never used to do this ... is this a fault ?
