Hi people, I'm new to the forum just joined because I'm thinking of buying a A3, I'm looking to spend about 4 grand, I've seen a few 2004 models 2.0TDI's that I like but with loads of miles, can anyone give me some advice on this model? Cheers

Saturday nights aren't busy here so you probably won't get any techs replying tonight.

Have a look through the section/forum however and find threads on the oil pump balance shaft issue which affects some older diesels. Also the injectors may be subject to a recall from Audi.

High miles wouldn't put me off personally however as long as it has a full Audi or VAG specialist service history.
