Golf Plus 2005 rear light cover

My good lady has a broken cover on her car, to whit the clear, plastic cover on the reversing light. The lights all work just fine but despite some googling, I can't seem to find just a cover, only light assemblies.

I'd rather not pay to replace the whole assembly (£86+VAT+delivery) so does anybody know if it's possile to replace just the cover and if so a source for such things.

I suspect that the moulding is in one piece?? Perhaps a scrap yard could provide a cheaper replacement?
