I am looking for a different code for my central elec system, the "feature" i am looking to code out is the auto locking function as mine relocks it's self after about 10seconds if you don't turn the ignition on, i can see my mrs will end up locking the keys in the car whilst strapping the kids in otherwise.

This (hopefully) is the relavent parts from my auto scan.

The car should not lock itself after The door has been opened.
Do the interior lights come on when the door is open, does the DIS show the door open.
I suspect a door lock fault.

I thought that too, the interior lights definately work off the front doors, i'll check the backs tonight.

unlock the car, get in, shut the door, do NOT put the key in ignition, the car should not relock itself.
Also try sidelights on and open the drivers door, does the buzzer sound ?

Well done that man!

o/s/r door latch not registering door open.

But that would not make the car lock itself.
Check the lights on buzzer with the drivers door. You may have a failed microswitch.

lights on buzzer works.

I just think its seeing an accidental unlock because it cannot see that door open.
