A4 ipod interface

Hi,

I'm looking at somehow connecting my ipod (http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/new-apple-ipod-range-1055-commercial.html) up to my concert HU (i think it is a concert II) in my A4. I've spoken with my local dealer and they do a official cable which looks like i can fit myself for £105.

I'm looking for some information as to whether they are any good, and if not then what can anyone recommend. Does in work with the dash display to show track info etc.? I've heard that it only works if you set up playlists from 1 to 6 is that the case?

Also does anyone know if you can swap the concert HU out for another Audi HU that is better...

I didnt think there was a dealer option for the B7. I have a Dension unit which works very well and displays the track title on the dash display.

The official Audi one was a no-go for me purely because it sits in the GloveBox or armrest and I need mine visible (I have an iPhone so use it for satnav etc. too). I opted for the Dension Gateway 300 which allows you to plug in a USB stick (or portable hard drive) too.

I have the Dension Gateway 300 too, really pleased with it. Might be worth considering the Highway 300DI now though. DAB radio with full ipod/ipad and usb controls.
