Hello

Are these standard on the new A6.
Dealership suggested storage pack required.

Thanks.

They are on mine, and I didn't specify them.

Mine has basic ones in a pocket in the centre console, not whizzy pop out ones, like some audis have. I have pretty much basic spec s line car.

Yes, that describes mine as well. You can push a couple of cans of pop into them.

I think that there is something similar in the rear seat rest as well.

Mine is an SE. The spec isn't basic, but none of the options is likely to have granted me extra cup holders, so you can be pretty confident that they will be there.

Storage pack brings rear cup holders in the arm rest and some other bits. I've got it specced on my order as the wife finds them handy when sitting in the back with the baby.

...and don't forget that the door pockets are now moulded to take a drinks bottle - up about 1L, from memory. Certainly take a wine bottle (although not for use while driving...)

From the brochure...

"Storage package consisting of 2 drinks holders in the rear centre armrest, luggage net for luggage compartment and two 12-Volt
sockets in the rear"

My car is the S Line 2012 Avant but basic spec with cup holders in the front but none in the back.

I haven't sat in the back of mine, but I thought my wife said something about cup-holders. Maybe not though.

There are cup holders in the rear centre armrest on the S line. Hands up who has not found the secret compartment for your sunglasses on the front of the drivers and passengers front seat just below the cushion?

There are no cup holders in the back of the S-Line. It must be part of the storage pack.

As numerous people have mentioned they have no cup holders in the rear on the S-Line - Some S-Lines (non-basic) may be different! All I have on mine is the rear armrest with a storage compartment in which the first aid kit is.

Does anybody know if you can order the rear cup holders from the parts department?. The kids would find them handy when on long trips.

I made the mistake on last A6 in not specifying the storage pack, just over £100. Not so this time, so rear centre arm rest has 2 cup holders in, and as other posts, all 4 door pockets have drink bottle- friendly mouldings, plus front centre armrest with two bottle holders. All the drinks space you'd need.
The storage pack also offers an elasticated strap in the boot plus cargo net (on the Avant at least), and rear seat 12v sockets.
Cheers,

Didn't order the storage pack and didn't get rear cup holders but did get elastic strap and rear and boot 12v.

I got a cargo net with my saloon, but no elasticated strap. I found it does have a power socket in the boot, though, and two power sockets for rear seat passengers inside an opening flap on the rear of the centre console. I forgot to look for the cup holders in the back though - doh!
