What a coincidence. I was getting flickering glow plug light and the engine management light would come on but then disappear, only to reappear a few days later.
I have a 58 plate A4 Sline which was at the dealer today for exactly the same problem P2102 throttle actuator. Turned out to be some sort of flap that needed replacing. With diagnosis came to £344 inc VAT, of which Warrantywise (my extended warranty) will cover £150 - they deducted £100 policy excess and diagnostic cost. Diagnosis was £70, part £178 and labour was around £40, all plus VAT.
The dealer I used never seem to hold any parts, but I suspect this is a common fault as they had some in stock and did the work the same day.
Car seems to run a lot better and fuel economy has gone up a few MPG as well.

You could check this out - they mention oil contamination in throttle valve http://www.partinfo.co.uk/files/Pierburg-SI0095-Throttle%20Body%20Service%20Info.pdf. Although they don't say how it could happen, there are contact details at the end of the first page so may be worth asking them.
